To those of you worried about buying this for £110 delivered to the UK, don't. The product is very well made and the delivery only took 5 days. I will report on sound when I have listened to it for a while. I hope it sounds as good as it looks!

Could you also report how this unit plays at quiet volumes. By the way what headphones are you using?

Yes I'll let you know how it is at low volume. I will be using Grado RS-2s.

The DV FIGARO is a great little amp: typical DV sound, plenty of drive and dynamism, with good bass for an amp at this price. I've had mine for about 2 months now, and I love it. Great with the HD650s, but it would be interesting to see how it sounds with GRADOs. The stock 6F3s tubes are good but to get the best out of it try a better pair of tubes. I'm burning in a pair of TELEFUNKEN ECL85s and the FIGARO sounds fantastic.

I have one coming my way at the end of this week, also my PPAv2 is finished getting built and also shipping at the end of this week. I'm stoked on getting a good comparo of the two...this'll be my first extended experience with a tube product, receivers don't count.

No, I'm getting a transformer along with it. I'm unsure if this'll impact the SQ at all, but I'm guessing not.
