Yup, just broke down and ordered the AT esw9 from from pricejapan.
Still, no more than €500 spent since I joined head-fi a few months ago.
My set up after this:
Ipod Nano/PC (Depends on away/home)
Pocketdock
Ibasso D2 Boa
AT ESW9

Was not sure to upgrade my Sony MD- XDR 400, but the wood is just to cool to pass up on.

Time to give the scissor treatment to my creditcard....

Those are some really nice phones though, great choice.

They sound great too, a nice step between portable headphones and full size monsters.

Just picked up a pair of ATH-A900's and got a pair of EW9's on their way, both from Head-fi'ers. Thinking about picking up a Heed Canamp and a pair of HD650's before the summer ends, what with that rebate and all...

This is what happens within two weeks of coming back to Head-fi...****ing hell...

from reading other threads, i don't think the heed canamp would go very well with the already warm sounding hd650's. the canamp is usually recommended for headphone's that are considered analytical or bass-light, and are in need of warming up. i recommend reading/researching before settling on that combo, best of luck.

Meh.....I got a HD650, MD5000, DV332, and a MF XcanV8 all this year. And this was from a 2 yr break of staying as far away as I could from these boards.

At least I won't have that itch for a bit.....well...i hope...

Thankfully I went to a local meet and that's curbed my headphone spending a bit- I was planning on buying the HD650 and ended up not liking them. Problem is, I realized how underpowered my K701s were and now I'm building a new DAC and will be building a Beta22 by the end of the year

Well, Geir auditioned my SR-007BL and SRM-007 some weeks ago.
He were more or less blown away, but not sure if his wallet is ready (yet).
