Im not an expert on the Darkvoice, but im guessing that you need to use powered monitors,or the RCA outs are used as a preamp buffer.

If youre trying to drive passive speakers you can damage your amp.

You can get powered monitors or a regular speaker amp if you already have passive speakers that you like.

I use vintage receivers to drive my Focal Aria 905s and sub.

Did you turn up both the volume controls on the source (computer) and turn up the volume control on the Darkvoice (336SE)?

It matters not if you have passive speakers. Kindly let us know what speakers & model you have. If theyre passive,in other words they do not plug into an electrical outlet, your Darkvoice cannot drive them.

Are the speakers self powered or are you trying to use the Darkvoice to directly drive them.

Those are passive speakers. Darkvoice will not work for driving them. You need a speaker amp,or you need to buy powered speakers that plug into the wall.

Monoprice MP-65RT

Those are passive speakers that need at least 1W at 6ohms, and that's assuming whatever sound you get is loud enough for you and you're sitting at around 1M away. How did you even connect those? The Darkvoice has RCA preamp outputs for a power amp the speaker has binding posts to connect to a power amp's or integrated amp's speaker outputs. Did you strip an RCA cable?

You have a preamp on the Darkvoice so what you need is just a pure power amp. Like this one from Emotiva.
