the Darkvoice 336i is being sold for $239.00 and $249.00 But It Now with $70.00 shipping. However, the same seller is offering one for bids. The last one I believe sold for $178.00. Shipping is still $70.00. It seems these sell for less if left to the auction method.

Hmm.. not a bad deal. Either way; auction or BIN, however I think the seller was testing the waters, because these almost never come up for auction.

Luckily, I got mine used, for $270 shipped with $70 in tubes.. So essentially I paid $200 shipped for the amp. I also like the included tubes as well.. so it was a double win-win for me...

Blah... everything I want isn't in the FS section. Blacksilver cables (don't want to wait 3 mos), Constantine DAC, Darkvoice amp or EC Lunchbox.

Luckily, I asked the seller a few questions, and the purchase was complete...

Shipping was almost $30 cross-country from Califonia to Florida. This deal really worked out on my end. Amp is in pristine condition as well..

I can personally recommend ebay seller jasmin_chine. I just received mine a couple days ago, within 4 days of the transaction (Shanghai to Dallas). Others here have had similar praise for her. Send her an email, she may work with ya on it...

Ha! Whatever it was, I am extremely pleased. The tubes are some awesome sounding 336i tubes, amongst the better of the selection out there.

For example some near NOS RCA 6AS7 gray plates, RCA 6SN7 GTB clear glass, and smoked glass.. some really nice tubes, honestly.

This is not to discourage other potential buyers, going with Jasmine is the best way to go. Very rarely do these come up in the FS section, or open for bidding on eBay. Just a heads-up though, at the time Jasmine accepted my $270 offer including shipping, however I was planning on paying via MO, rather than PayPal, and the deal was never completed. See if she will lower her total price; it worked in my instance..

Good luck..

Yeah the 6C19 tubes are very responsive to upgrading, unfortunately the really nice Russian Uly tubes are quite difficult to source.

Now they've got the pricier models listed too. Interesting

What pricier models, and where? I only see one 336i open to bidding...
