Hi,
I've decided to upgrade from listening to 320 kbps mp3s on my phone through a pair of Beyerdynamic t51 headphones to listening to flac files through a DAP - I'll be using the same headphones, at least for a while.
I'm looking for a DAP to do this on, primarily due to it being cost effective to have bigger storage on a DAP, but have read that sound quality may improve doing this too.
However, I am a fan of creating on the go playlists, i.e. adding to a continuously changing playlist, whilst listening to that playlist, and as far as I understand, that's not possible on a few of the DAPs I've been considering - Shanling M0, Fiio m3k, etc. I'd also like the player to read and use the replaygain tags that my files have. I'd like decent battery life and sd card support up to 500GB would be good, but I'm not too fussed about any other bells and whistles like bluetooth, or even a touch screen.
Can anyone recommend a DAP that fits the bill and won't break the bank? Thanks!
