DAP and Earbud recommendations

Hey y'all, I'm entering the market for a audio player that sipports lossless audio. Im looking at Fiio, Astell&Kern, is this where i should start? How good is Fiio? Im looking between 300-400. Will be playing FLAC, wav and mp3. Ill need some good earbuds as well. Something neutral sounding. I like the grado sound. Any recommendations? Whats a good starting point?
