I plug my Grado SR-80s straight into my D777 w/o amp. I always listen at the volume level in which the number is under the triangle icon next to the marking "VOL". I am a bit worried if it is too loud for the health of my ears. I would be grateful if those with Grados and D777 could tell me the volume you are listening at. Thanks.

when listening to vocals, do they sound like they're singing at a realistic volume... shouting, or whispering? - that is the best way to tell
