A thread on Vinyl Engine get me starting to thinking on this topic. One poster mentioned that only those who are REAL MEN dare to use a unipivot tonearm with a suspended chassis turntable. You vinyl-holics will be able to picture this in your minds, and shudder. To those of you who are clueless, imagine taking on the slickrock trails at Moab with a UNICYCLE.

Here's my own idea: DAP #2 Listening to live cannon shots at high volumes on certain recordings - you know the one I mean! It's MUCH worse with the LP version, one place where digital easily beats vinyl.

Anyone else with a DAP??

Some of these trails are marked, for the benefit of those on TWO wheels, as dangerous, people having been killed or injured on them. Still clueless??

I may become sorry I began this thread...

Or perhaps carrying a pair of studio monitors [you know, boxes making sound] into a Head-Fi Meet??

Wiring up a dedicated power line for your hi-fi using only the contents of the toolbox in your garage.
