Hey guys, I need help with my headphones.
My friend cut and soldered the audio cable of my HD555 I bought like 5 years ago, because the cable was broken.
Now the bass on the left side sounds kind of "spitty" and some of the high frequencies sound very rattly. I'm no expert, I don't really know the exact words for it.
I took it apart and found this on my membrane?

You can see it on the right side of the membrane.
Could he damage it this way on accident? Is this the cause of the bad sound? Is there a way to fix this? These are my favorite headphones ever, I'm so used to them, even if they look so beat up now because of the years abuse they endured.
