My dad found these in the basement and gave them to me. He said he had them when he was in high school, so they are about 50 years old. The left side wasnt working but i fixed that up and now they work like new. They seem to sound very flat and even, almost no tone coloration. They are uncomfortable as crap though, about 90 minutes is the most i can wear these.
I've seen pics of the OA-3A around, but never the OA-3, so im not sure what to expect from these.

Great score - gotta love the rarity and history - look like they're in great condition also.

Cosmetically they look like brand new. The leather isnt torn or stained at all, the metal hasnt pitted or tarnished one bit, and the cable is still bouncy and coils right up.
The only noticable thing is that the left cup's wire is a little shorter so the left side cant adjust in and out as much as the right. I'll probably open them up again and fix that someday, but they work fine so im not going to worry about it.

Time to go listen to my Pink Floyd LPs
