Hi All,

I just recently stepped into the higher end wired headphone space after spending years predominantly using Bluetooth headphones. I picked up a Focal Clear MG, which I love and a Dragonfly Cobalt, iFi Zen DAC V2, and the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M. After spending some time with each, I decided to stick with the DacMagic. I'm admittedly a noob here so i just went with what sounded best to my ears and that had plenty of power for the Clear MGs.

I do have two quick questions I am hoping to get some help with:

1 - I installed the latest version of the USB Class 2 driver from the Cambridge Audio website; however, I am only able to select a max of 24-bit/384khz in Windows 11. I believe the DacMagic 200M is supposed to go up to 32-bit/768Khz over USB. Is there something that I am missing?

2 - Does selecting Dolby Atmos Headphones in the Windows sound settings actually implement spatial audio or is that functionality lost when using an external DAC even if that setting is available?

thank you,

Michael
