dac1 setting levels even

edit: nevermind, this should be answered in the dac1 usb thread.

hi, i don't have much test equipment at home. my unit here has uneven left and right channels on the calibrated. i don't have time at work now to fix it. what can i use at home?

You will need a test tone in .wav format, usually at 0dB level and at 100hZ or 1kHz. Several test disks available have this. Then you will need a true RMS voltmeter with a bandwidth above 1kHz. Just turn on the test tone and repeat it and adjust the pots until the output voltage is identical from both RCA outs. I like to set it to 5VRMS rather than the usual 2.83V RMS.
