DAC with exceptional audio and Stereo Mix

Head-Fi being the platform where many audiophiles gather, we were hoping for someone who could point us to the direction of an affordable DAC, which features both the exceptional audio and Stereo Mix functionality that we are looking for. We are expecting to spend no more than €300.00 per DAC.
 
We have been in contact with Meridian Audio, regarding the Explorer in specific. Unfortunately, they do not support the Stereo Mix functionality in any of their products.
With Meridian crossed off our list, we are looking at the Onkyo DAC-HA200 and TEAC HA-P50. Unfortunately, our local dealers could not provide us with a concrete answer on the Stereo Mix functionality.
 
Any of your input and suggestions are much appreciated.

You dont need a DAC, you need an ADC. DAC means "digital to analogue converter," and ADC means "analogue to digital converter." Stereo mix, assuming we're talking about the same thing, is one way to record sound into a computer.
 
What you need is a pro audio interface. It would be better if you ask in a pro audio forum since there would be more info there, especially regarding which gear works best for the specific application you want.
