really? the dacmagic is like a Honda Civic compared to the Music Hall 25.2? i thought they would be in the same league considering they only have about $150 price difference. interesting...

so far i've heard the MH 25.2 is favorable to the PS Audio and Paradisea.

awesome. i just read over the PS audio thread and it sounds like it might be the dac for me. the cullen mods also seem interesting. have you had any experience with them? particularly the improvements?

nah, i think i'm gonna go for the PS Audio DL III. i like what i'm hearing so far in the reviews and it's going for a pretty awesome price right now fitting right within my budget.

haha i hope not. if i go for the ECD-1 i mine as well go for the Bel Canto DAC3. i don't think i have space to store the ECD-1 anyway. though, i hear that the DAC3 is only a little bit better than the Benchmark DAC1. i wonder how a Cullen modded PS Audio DL III will fall into this.

heh, good luck with the PS Audio. You'll just end up with all of them at some point anyway.
