I am looking for a USB Dac where I can hook my speakers up and has a built in headphone amp. My budget is $150 to $300, can go slightly over if I have to. I am eyeing the Audio Gd Compass, Maverick Tube Magic D1, Musiland 02. My main priority is an excellent DAC, second is to have decent headphone amp, and third ability to use my speakers with it. Build and quality control is nice as well. What are some of my options?

Same situation here.
I own D2K and I'm going to buy A5. Same budget.
I've just sold Xonar ST.

One more option to add to your list:
Beresford TC-7520

I have the Maverick D1 personally and I think it's a good performer and very versatile for the price. There's a long thread in the amplification forum with lots of user opinion and it and discussion. You should check it out.
