Hello. First thing I want to apologize in advance if this topic has been covered before or if this is posted in the wrong section. I recently bought the Edifier S730 and have not regreted buying them. My question is would this system benefit from using a DAC? Or should i just live it the way it is. I mainly use these speakers for gaming on my pc but i also use them to listen to music.(99% of the time its death metal). Sorry if these is  stupid question but im barely getting into the audiophile world.

Asus Xonar DX or D1 sound card (used $60), which comes with a CS4398 DAC chip, should improve audio quality, over plugging the speakers directly into the motherboard.
