DAC Converter - Recommendation/Experience

I want to ask for a pocket DAC, with a connection for mobile phone and PC over 3.5mm Jack and affordable price.

Does anyone have experience, how it adjusts the sound material - classical music, jazz, or newage, no metal or disco music?

Have had a Dragonfly Red for years and it is a nice device I’ve used it more as a dac only but it drives most of my headphones just fine as well and to be honest the little $8 usb-c Apple dongle does just as well and seems like it has just as much power as well. One thing I will say is using Tidal and MQA is another thing not so much with just a couple of headphones I grabbed Meze 99 Classics and Fostex TR-X00’s but using the Empire Ears Phantoms there is a definite difference while not huge it is there as I don’t think the dongle can do the second unfolding of MQA as the Red can but then again took quite a bit better headphone/Iem to really notice it.

Hidizs has released the successor to the s8, the S9. To me the S9 sounded better. More transparent, and the soundstage was wider.

If I were looking for another USB key style DAC, I'd go for the Helm Audio Bolt.
