DAC/Amp/Headphone combo in the $5-600 range

Hello Head-fi community.
I am considering upgrading my listening experience with a dedicated DAC/amp, and would like to hear your suggestions.
At the moment I am using a set of Beyerdynamic dt770 pro, 80 ohms at work, where the closed back is essential (laptop output). I never listened to open-back headphones, but I would like to get a set to use at home. I am considering the following setup

1. Schiit Fulla 2 to use with the Beyerdynamic cans at work.
2. Schiit magni 2 (uber?) at home. The fulla can be brought home, where the dac section is feeding the magni
3. A decent pair of open-back headphones. (suggestions? I have been looking at Hifiman HE400s or Sennheiser HD650, or Beyerdynamic dt990 pro)

Your insights are appreciated.

Fulla2 and HE400S, no need for the Magni.

Fulla 2 >> HE400S (simpler, cheaper, great SQ)

or

Jotunheim >> HD650 ((if you are going to spend more, make it worthwhile, IMO) More expensive, probably better SQ overall)

I will go with the fulla2 into HE400S. Upgrades can be acquired later
