Wow, didn't think they would command so much. See auction here. For those not familiar with these, these were Sony's top model from the "Eggo" series of headhones. One of my favorite portable headphones, but, wow, 400 bucks?

is that some kind of joke bid? i have heard a pair of these a good while ago, and whilst not bad, they certainly are not worth $400!

Supposedly there were touted as so great. Then they are so rare they fetch a bundle. I've heard quite a few people say that it is only a bit better than the D66 that replaced it. They should have bought an ESW9 and saved some dough.
