You are asking for the impossible, the D2000 is already the flat-out best can of its price range. If a can on the level of the D2000 is available at $150 head-fi would be all over them.

eh i wouldn't say it's the best in its price range. Maybe for his tastes, but otherwise the dt880 is pretty damn good.
