I just got the D2000 and am now looking for a good amp for them in the $150 bracket. Has anyone tried them with the Headsix? I would LOVE to hear any impressions if so. Thanks in advance!

They sound good on the low gain setting. High gain seems to suck out all the bass. From what I could tell with mines you dont really sacrifice any detail by going from high to low gain. Maybe this is because the D2000 are already low gain cans.

Awesome! Have you had a chance to compare them on a diff amp yet?

I did with my go-vibe5 before I gave it away but it was no comparison. Head-six was much more detailed that it wasnt even close. With the current offerings of portables around $150 I doubt you can go wrong with any of them.
