Hi guys,

[Let me first say that I did use the search function and found tons of info on MD players, but I didn't find anything specific about this combo......any help appreciated.]

I would appreciate your opinions on using a D-303 PCDP as a source for the MZ-1 MD. I've never tried MD before, now I have the chance, so I'll give it a shot. I understand that there are much better sounding players than the MZ-1, but hey this is the one I have to play with

Please educate me on MD recording. Which format would apply for this case.

Yes, given the lack of replies to the topic, it must be a rather mediocre MD player.
Well it was the first one by Sony, I believe. I'll give it a shot anyway.

are we talking about the MZ-N1?? If so, this is a fabulous player and I've had absolutely no problems with it, and it sounds great I really can't notice the difference between it and a CD with my current setup!
