I've got a Sony CDP-XA20ES that's fabulous, but I've also recently bought a CDR-W33 pro recorder and I'm thinking about selling the XA20ES to cut down on the number of boxes in my rack (10). To make digital CD copies on the CDR-W33, I'd have the digital out from my D-303 to use. (yes, i could burn copies on the computer, but let's put that aside).

Any viewpoint on the quality of the digital out from the D-303?

Also, anyone know what the XA20-ES might fetch on the market?

Thanks

I tried it once, using a Monarchy DIP for optical to coax conversion into an ART DI/O. I was not impressed. I strongly preferred the line out straight into an amp...and the DAC in the D-303 is nowhere near as good as the DI/O.
