Well, it's all in the title I think. I would love to find a custom earphone that is as close as possible to the sound of the Sennheiser IE800. In particular I love how crisp the trebles are; I do like the isolation the customs offer so I'd like to marry the two together. I do own a pair of the IE800. Love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you.

Maybe you can try the Comply TX200 (or other T200 series tips) with your IE800, much more comfortable and better isolation than stock tips.

The issue is that the IE800 have that silly proprietary system with their tips. Do you know for sure those Comply are compatible?

Sure, I am using it now..

I've tried the comply t200 with the ie800 but I didnt like the result it affected the highs too much. I think the merlins would be a closer comparison to the ie800's in terms of sound.

I am looking for a similar solution but was actually thinking of custom molding the IE800. Has anyone ever done this or know of someone who does?

The factory tips are near useless for my ears but I like the sound of these. (Sennheiser, are you reading?). I have no clue what CIEM to try that has anywhere near the sound based on the limited response to this thread.
