CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread

Does CustomArt still offer an option for silicone ciems? I was ready to purchase one on their website and didn't find that option for their existing ciems.
Interesting. I didn't realize they struck IEMs from the "Silicone Products" page (including ownership transfer). I don't remember hearing about it in any announcement from Piotr and co. Perhaps it was that sales/turnaround times for silicone products made it not worth it for them to keep offering silicone products? They've also been moving toward 3D printed acrylic so perhaps that transition effort has pulled shop resources (e.g. production space, training, materials, R&D) from silicone as well.

Your best bet will be to reach out to them at their email address.

I listened FIBAE 3x3, this is very good earphone, especially for people have FIBAE 3 and they complained that there wasn't enough bass. New FIBAE 3x3 have more bass than FIBAE 3, and this bass is very nice because reminds me bass from dynamic driver not armature.

That's great to know. The F6 had BA bass that closely resembled a DD and I am still impressed with it. I loved the transparency of the F3 and its crystal clear signature. The bass was present when it was in the track, but I longed for more quantity with the F3.

@subguy812 I love too the transparency and clear signature in F3. FIBAE 3 x 3 this is mix: bass something between F2 and F6, while higher-mids and highs this is F3. For me this F3 with more body on all frequencies.

Hey, I received today these beauties (Fibae 7)! :D
As usual, quality is top notch and the fit is just perfect!

So far I am really pleased, they are great for groovy sounds (Snarky Puppy - Lingus is fantastic) and for vocals.
I had a great time listening to live (Opeth live at Red Rocks) and acoustic performances (Steven Wilson - Pariah live at Royal Albert Hall).

I'll have more time to compare them to the Fibae Black, but it sounds like a definite improvement for me. F7 have more body, fuller sound while revealing more details.

More to come :)

Thinking about a balanced cable for Fibae Black, I am wondering what kind of cable would match best : high purity or single crystal copper ? Silver plated copper ? Silver + copper ? Pure silver ?

Just replaced my Fibae Black stock mic cable with a Linsoul one, put on plenty of mileage since 2019 on that cable.

Thanks! That's a nice looking cable. Is it a hybrid copper/silver?

Many thanks for crafting the units! Indeed a silver/copper mix.

Hey, everyone. This one is way, way, way overdue, but I’ve finally finished my review of @piotrus-g’s flagship FIBAE 7! In a time when $6000 flagships are edging their way to normalcy, competitive TOTLs like the FIBAE 7 are gems that I appreciate more and more each day. So, if you want the Custom Art house sound at its technical best, this one should definitely be on your radar. As always, I hope you enjoy the review. Cheers! :)
