Interested in making custom wood ear cups for the Hifiman he-400. Can someone let me know the tools I would need for the job as well as the types of wood which wood be suitable? Thanks.

That doc is a touch incomplete, but feel free to use it. I have since moved on to doing my Fostex and Grado woodies entirely on a lathe. Would be glad to chat about it....feel free to shoot me a PM.
So far I have done a Darth Beyer knock-off using the Superlux Beyer DT770 rip-offs, and a good amount of Fostex T50rp and Grado builds...
