Hi all,

For many moons now I have had the pleasure of a set of Shure 535se.

I have in the past looked at having them custom re-shelled and had looked at prices etc. but never bit the bullet.

The right hand shell has now split along the join line and after a quick email from Shure offering 160 pounds for a replacement single ear piece remembered that a custom re-shell was only a few pounds more than that.

However after looking around on the internet have found that most now only offer a custom earpiece and not a re-shell.

So Head-fi....

does anybody have any recommendations?

Custom Art don't reshell anymore. They only do their models through owner transfer. Lime Ears don't appear to have the option on the site, but might be worth an email.

Yes many stopped offering this service, too much effort, too little return. Took a bit long with AAW, but so far they have the better workmanship and service, even repaired faulty crossover and replaced faulty treble driver in my TF10. long live the TF10! lol
