Since custom IEMs cost a boat load of dough, I was just wondering if you guys out there have a back up IEM? If so, what is it, and how often do you use it?

Please mention what your Custom IEM is, along with your backup and frequency of use!

LiveWires, Shure E4C's.

Right now, Shure E4C's exclusively, because the LiveWires aren't here yet.

When I get them, the E4C's will be used when working out, running (on a track, so I don't really need to be aware of my surroundings), and in situations where they could be easily broken, or something.

None. It should've be the Westone 3, but I'm tired of waiting. I might jump on a pair of Triple.Fi 10 Pro or go back to the ER4P/S.

My main listening is with the Atrio M8.
My backup is the Crossroads X3, then the Creative EP630.

The backups are not much in use these days...weeks...months...

I got a Equation RP22,closed headphone, to be able to listen to Opeth , because with the IEM it did not "growl" correctly!

My ear canals were" twisting and shaking too much"...
