I might pick up a set of AKG HSD 271s to use at work. The cable options they have for this headset are geared towards broadcast facilities. With a dynamic mic in this model i should be able to use these on my phone/computer - which is what i want to do.
I'm wondering if you could recommend me a place that could make up a quality cable for me? I know there are a lot of cable makers online, i've never used any of them. My preference is to not have a bundle of heavy adapters hanging off of the thing if i can avoid it.
The interface at the headphones is a 6-pin Mini-XLR
I want a TRRS tip at the other end, and integrated phone controls (volume up/down + play/pause) near the headset FTW (I could go without those controls though).
I'd take a stab at making these myself too but mine never seem to come out the way i want
These'll be the Pentax 67 equivalent of a phone headset.
