Hm, that's odd. Mine did not come with any Rubber O-rings. I wonder if he started using them recently.............................

Yeah, the rubber rings were glued to the cup to cover the seam. I decided to remove mine when the glue started failing, they are purely visual tweak.

I'm not quite sure why I put them back on for the photo.. probably didn't want to lose them and couldn't think of a better storage place

I've had 4 Darths so far - and the O-Ring only appeared on the figured Zebra pair - fastened tight against the Beyer shell. Assume he sees it as finishing the look when Zebrawood is used.

Same here, the only pair of DB's I ever owned that had it are the Wenge ones, which Cooperpwc now owns.
