Well, it's getting to be a tradition now, and Custom Art delivered yet another big announcement for April Fools day.

The successor of Harmony 8 and Harmony 8 Pro has now been announced, and will hit us by July 2016!

More infos will be added as details are revealed :)

1. Excerpt from Deezel177 conversation
"Expect improvement in sub-bass region (cross-over from Ei.xx but more tamed), more vocal presence and less lingering in highs and less highs quantity (compared to H8P), more headroom for better depth without sacrificing width and spaciousness."

2. Declarations from Piotr (gathered on HF threads)
- early estimate price between 1,1-1,2k€
- silicon or acrylic body
- upgrade for Hamony family should be available (no pricing yet)

I asked CA on Facebook what the treble-to-bass tonal differences will be between the 8.2 and the original 8 and 8P. They (I assume Piotr) replied:

"Good question! Basically the idea is to have a sound that's between both version. We also will include all the feedback we got over the last 2years, so expect improvement in sub-bass region (cross-over from Ei.xx but more tamed), more vocal presence and less lingering in highs and less highs quantity (compared to H8P), more headroom for better depth without sacrificing width and speciousness."

It seems they're basically fixing all the qualms I had about the H8 and H8P. The fact that it's slated to come out in July, which is also my birthday, leaves my ears gleaming with anticipation, and my wallet trembling in fear. =D

Agree. I also thought the Harmony 8 could do better for vocalist music when I auditioned it.
