I paid about $1450 for mine.
Don't know if that is cheap or expensive, but it was the only one available, after I had looked for a couple of months.

danny. the price range can be very wide...but expect to pay "around" $1000. I got mine thru an auction service using yahoo japan and paid just under $800 shipped...but everyone seems to be looking for one now!

Got mine via eBay - paid a little over $900 USD. I will consider putting mine on the market after receiving a BHSE, hopefully soon.

Around $1000 sounds about right. But as with "everything" the price varies quite a bit. Depending on condition, voltage setup, luck, and more..
