Hi, surfing on headphile site i found this:

I think a semi-open back design like this may help to better control bass resonances.

Anyone ever tried to listen something similar?
How does the sound change?

Actually you can try-out the mods without irreversibly affecting your cans.

Briefly, it significantly extends the highs, opens the mids and soundstage with a much more controlled, accurate bass presentation. It does this without giving up dynamics.
This is also an "open-front" mod in addition.
