Hello all!
This is my first time purchasing a headphone amp, and I bought the Leckerton UHA-4 for its crossfeed. From what I understand, this supposedly gives the effect of listening to speakers.

However, when I turn the crossfeed on, the difference to my ears is really very subtle, to the point I can't hear if there is any effect from crossfeed at all.

For comparison, I have a Focusrite VRM Box for desktop use, and with them, together with my SR80/SE215, it really feels like I'm listening to music/composing etc from speakers, not headphones.

Am I just expecting the wrong thing?

Thanks, and apologies for such a first post. Long time lurker :3

For recordings that have any vocals or instrument sounds that are primarily in either the right channel or left channel, crossfeed will help to lessen the "ping pong" between your ears. Recordings that are more centered probably won't seem as affected by crossfeed.
