It's been many months since I've last heard SD5. However both U77 and SD5 has a warm v-shaped response. If I remember correctly, SD5 is even more warm with its vocals and has greater subbass extension.

Due to where I'm now located I don't have an SD5 to compare directly (to the u77), so I can't say for sure which has better vocals.
