I baught a creek in second hand and i was quite happy with my hd650 but then i ordered the Gilmore lite, WHAT a difference !!! the sound is much more transparent, the "acoustic image " is so much wider and deep with well controled bass the instruments and voices are clearly restituated and well positioned " un régal "

Rega planet2000; nordost solarwind; HD-650

Glad to hear you like the new gear! I've always thought the Lite was a heck of a performer for the price level and apparently a lot of folks agree based on its popularity around here. What kind of music are you listening to?

From: "Keith jarret "to" massive attack "by "David daniels "and "morphine "even "tool" when i am in the mood
lots of "Haydn" and "Bach suites"

When you listen to the Creek, it is like hearing the music in a "tube".

Where can you get the Gilmore Lite, and what's the best price on it?

One of the things I always enjoyed about the Lite's was their versatility and ability to sound good with all types of music. I think it is because of their neutrality and speed, but whatever it is, it's great bang for the buck.
