Hello all. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD600's on the way (Xmas gift). My vintage Kenwood integrated has a very nice headphone output, so I'm set at home. However, I'm looking for an inexpensive (sub-$100) but nice-sounding headphone amp for traveling (listening to an iPod in a hotel room).
Am I better off with a Biosciencegeek Cmoy off of eBay or one of the $89 OBH-11's also available there? The obvious advantage of the Cmoy is that it is battery-powered and truly portable, while the Creek has to be plugged in. However, when I am using the HD600's, I plan to be: a) stationary and b) near a wall outlet.
Thanks in advance!
