Creative Zen Touch-Does it do a line out?

Right next to the headphone socket is a slot. Inside this slot are 4 gold connecting pads.

I have been unable to discover what this is for. Is it for a plug or adapter that can give me a line out?

I haven't had any exp with the Zen touch but what you descrbe sounds exactly like a connection for external remote.

It's for the remote. The Zen Touch doesn't have line-out

. I usually set the volume to about 22/25 and it works well.
