Hi people, I wonder if anyone knows any good amp that I can connect into my Titanium card and back my AKG 550s phones?
 
I bought the card but I don't think it has enough power to really get the best out of my 550s, but I still want to use the card.
I just need an amp so I don't get distortion when I crank up the volume.

The headphone jack on the T-HD (Titanium HD) can provide way more power then the K550 could ever use.
But, the T-HD's headphone jack also has a high impedance, 35-Ohms, which can cause things like a bloated bass to the 32-Ohm K550s.
The Schiit Magni headphone amplifier, $99, has a low output impedance 1-Ohm which will work great with the K550.
With the T-HD, for best sound quality, it's best to plug the external headphone amplifier into the T-HD's RCA outputs.
