Hi everibody,

I 'd need some opinions about the external soundcard "CREATIVE MP3+".

I'd like to use it connected to my NAD C320BEE + Focal.JMlab Chorus 716s, and my X-Can V2 + HD600.

My actual soundcard is a sh.. I can hear my hard disk throug my speakers, a lot of noise and accidentaly some music. Horrible.

So I'm searching for a low cost but excellent external sound card. I'm not interested in 5.1, just music and 2.0 movies.

Crative MP3+ has "cinch" connexions, optical output for my MD, it seems perfec. But does it sound as great as its features?

Thanks a lot,

SaNdRo.

Most of Creative's stuff is rather crappy for music, in my experience. You might want to consider other brands... Here's a few to get you started

They range in price and features. Of note, Headroom's Bithead (first one linked) is also an amplifier, but since you already have the X-Can, that's probably not high on your list. The Terratec got high reviews awhile ago, I remember, and M-Audio's stuff is usually pretty good. A friend of mine has the Sonica and likes it quite a bit.
