guys,

i'm thinking about upgrading my crappy onboard sound card with a better quality one.
I need it to listen to music mostly, watching movies and may be games (don't play games almost at all)
I have Logitech 2.1 speakers with subwoofer which are OK, but I have decent headphones Sennheiser HD-555 which I want to make use of.

Which sound card should I buy? Would Live 5.1 be sufficient?

the audigy cards sound much better imo, however for pure musical quality, also check out the m-audio revolution card, about the same price as an audigy2, not as good for games, but much better for music
