The cable on my SE530s has a slight crack in it. Rather then spend $145+ on a repair with Shure I figured I would see what else is out there now.

What universals/customs would be considered as good or better then the SE530's these days?

UE Triple Fi
UE 11
Westone 3
JH Audio 13

I have heard UE's quality has decreased since they were acquired by Logitech? Are there any others I am missing. Thanks!

UE's quality is still top notch, it's there customer service that has gone down hill. If you have $1000 to spend go for the 13's. If you read the JH-13 appreciation thread, everyone is very happy with them.
