The right side of me super.fi 5 pro got cracked. Luckily the interior seems to be intact as the sound seems to be normal. I didn't even notice it was cracked until last night!!

Can this be fixed if I send it back to UE? It is about 5 months old. Anybody here who went through a similar problem??

Yea they replace them no problems just email their tech support and they will set up an RMA for you. I think it takes them about a week to turn around another set. If you call them it may speed things up, as they have been very busy lately.

Does that mean they will send me a replacement unit? I have a habit of becoming attached to my electronics... I have a 4 year old 2mp canon I can't replace!!

And btw, is this problem common? I babied mine, so the crack really caught me as a surprised. The left side seems pretty durable, so the right side must have suffered a really powerful impact. But where?

It is a common problem that they will address by sending you a free replacement.

I babied mine as well, so it was a huge suprise when I noticed they were broken. They broke in the same spot as yours. That was a month ago, I still haven't sent them in.. I just haven't had time.

ask for the new 5Pro cable while you're at it, it's supposed to be a lot sturdier.

I emailed them with the picture and they told me to send them in.

I encountered the same problem, both earphones have cracks. I called UE and they gave me an RMA. I sent them in a few days ago and they say they will ship out a new pair within one week.
I was suprised myself to see the cracks appear, I really take good care of those and to see that happen was unexpected.
These things happen, I've been happy with UE on handling this issue so far.
