It is cheaper then the Galaxy S player. but considering the galaxy S player has a Samsung Arm9 and this has a Telechips. i would still go for the galaxy S.

the 70 5.0inch has 10h video and 36h battery. and the samsung Arm procesor has been proven to have better app compatability.

also the expiriances with the D3 leave cowons ability in the android dap world in question.

the one thing i like about cowon players is their ability to drive almost any IEMs without an amp!

looool the port cover is also a kickstand. Never thought of that.

Android does come with some advantages for dedicated DAPs - software, flexiblity, potenial support for USB OTG. At the same time battery life, size and cost are the downers. Oh well, everyone can figure it for himself I suppose.

thinking of either this or the 64gb sony z.

Both are able to drive Ciems without any issues. The cowon is cheaper with excellent EQ while the sony has a much better built with a dedicated lineout.

Decisions!

What makes me angry is that I paid nearly £300 for a device that Cowon now say was just a beta product and that the Z2 will be the stable version with faster CPU and memory. I can understand releasing a newer product but Cowon should of made the D3 a far more stable device with a firmware update instead of dumping it in the garbage can and just releasing a newer model instead :frowning2:
