Just updated the software. It's farrrrrr more responsive and far easier to use now. There is still about 0.5sec lag but it's very predictable and scrolling is much smoother. Everything else pretty much the same. Didn't use the playlist before but it's good. Just add tracks or albums to a playlist and play directly from it. Even with shuffle all, it'll only play tracks in playlist. I found shuffle all to select tracks from internal or SD card memory. Very happy with new fw.

Can you please confirm it you can add folders to the playlist?

upzip file then take those 2 files and drop in the unit itself.

I didn't notice any. Plus they included a lock button option
lock button do The side buttons dont accidently gets pressed?

This was already present with 1.02.

Exactly - screen on = buttons enabled, screen off = buttons disabled.

If anyone is struggling with the new firmware update just go to the global site and follow the procedure for firmware 1.02. The procedure's the same.

Well, that's really great news!! Cowon must have heard me when I was complaining about the overall lag of the UI! Hurray!
