Sonic Stage is a real pain to use. You can't transfer music that's been synced onto it to another computer

You can use GYM to get it off the player on another computer.

I took a couple hours to organize all my mp3s (~12GB) so that SS wouldn't get confused and I have to say I really like using it, syncs with my Vaio Pocket just fine, plenty fast, I don't really have any problem with it. Except it crashes about once a month, but without any side-effects, just have to start back up again.

SS is a fine program and shouldn't be a deterrent to buying Sony.
