All,

I have one of these excellent devices (plugged into Audeze LCD2 cans - utter nirvana - and many other groups as well ;-). Anyway it uses a MicroSd SDXC external drive ( & also has 128gb built-in memory) and says it can take 128Gb external micro ddxc cards - which I use and this size works. As it uses an Android OS I was looking to ask if anyone has tried using a larger capacity SDXC mirco disk at 256Gb or 512Gb in this unit and does it work?. I believe that Cowan says it takes 128Gb (and that is the max) but as it is just an external micro SD to the OS a bigger disk should work - has anyone tried it? Its a lot a cash to fork out on a test this is why I am asking first so all information grateful received.

Thanks

Thanks for the information I did not want to shell out cash for a ddxc card larger than 128Gb if it did not work - I will give a larger card a try now on the Cowan Plenue P1 device I own.

Thanks Again much appreciated,

BRCMRGN,

Well my 200Gb MicroSD sdxc card arrived today and I am copying my music files (FLAC) over to the Plenue 1's internal disk and the new external disk.

The only thing I did not clarify with you was whether or not your 200Gb Micro SD disk is full or not, (and if not full). Are you using more than 128Gb of it? I will most likely know the answer before you reply as my collection will use nearly all (if not all) the now 328Gb available. Possibility is that the internal music Database that Cowon has written only has a fixed size. Anyway I will find out soon enough ;) - as the man who fell of the skyscraper was heard to utter, as he past by each floor on the way down - "so far, so good!".
