Could this be a better FM transmitter?

Anyone try this? Been looking for an FM transmitter, and wonder if using the increased power of the cigarette lighter, if this may be better than the Belkin, iTrip, etc. Any thoughts?

Somewhat doubt it - the limitation on devices like the iTrip isn't the power available, it's the output regulations the FCC puts on devices like that. To make big gains, what you'd need is something that had a stronger signal. (Why nobody's selling hacked versions, I don't understand...iPoding's been pretty disappointing with their iTrip mods - they talked about modding it to increase the output, but as far as I know never followed through.)

The only area I can see for significant advantage to be made is in antenna design.

And I wouldn't want to buy something which only works on one frequency.
