Could someone help me source a power supply for my ECSS?

Jim,

A STEPS is not what you need since it's designed to output DC. What you want to look for is an AC output wallwart, which is probably what you're already doing. Hopefully someone can help with that, I took a quick look and unfortunately I'm a 120V primary guy so I didn't have any luck.

hi Jim,
you're lucky, farnell has a sales office in hong kong.
here's what you need:
http://hk.farnell.com/jsp/Electrical...sp?sku=1217073
if the link doesn't work: go to http://hk.farnell.com and type "1217073" in the search field
15v AC, 500mA, dirt cheap (50hk$)

this could also be an alternative:

18v instead of 15v, higher current rating, and it has better efficiency and a weaker electromagnetic field (well ok, the the transformer is external anyways). but you would have to attach a power cord and wire the output correctly yourself, so this option wouldn't be without some DIY.

you can probably have one of the HK DIY parts shop build one for you, since 15-18v AC transformers are very common. The price might be slightly more than the wallward, but you get bigger trans therefore better performence. If 500mA is the mininum requirement, I'd like to go for at least 1A.

I thought there are tons of DIY parts shops in Hk........
