cost of Ultrasone hfi 780 ALO mod

I was just curious as to what would be the cost, for me to have my Ultrasone HFI 780's shipped and recabled by ALO, or any other company that specialize in modifications. Thanks for your input Head-fi fam..

It probably really depends on what cable is being used.  IMHO, the biggest difference is probably had by removing the buffer board and adding a bit of damping, which is not hard to do with a little soldering experience.

Let me do this inaccurate maths:
ALO780=440
Non-ALO cost=249
Their cable and mod cost=440-249=191
Unless they add more to their modding price because you did not buy the cans from them that should be the actual cost of the mod not including the posting and handeling fees.
Add the posting it will be well over 200(that is at least for my case would be 191+70*2=331 if I was going to buy a HFI780 and than send it back for modding)!
